The power of positive thinking, positive mental attitude, see it-believe it, daily affirmation...these and other popular phrases are all describing suggestion.

For many people, no matter how much positive thinking and positive attitude they have, nothing changes.  You have the desire, but something inside holds you back.  That something is your subconscious mind, and to really change you have to get those positive thoughts into your subconscious.  That sounds like a job for hypnosis.

The use of positive suggestions in hypnosis has a long history.  The American Medical Association accepted hypnosis as a medical treatment in 1958.  Through the use of carefully worded positive suggestions and hypnosis, it is possible to change, sometimes dramatically, the way you relate to the world around you. 

It is important to remember that the subconscious and conscious mind will not allow you to receive suggestions that are counter to who you truly are.  You must truly desire to make the changes in your life and none of the suggestions can be against your true personality.  Suggestions cannot make you rob banks, act strange or change your personality.  Suggestion can give you back the control over your life.
